12:00 - 4:00 p.m.: Bring your childen out to Plyler Park for storytelling, face painting, caricature artist, inflatable bounce houses, and a children’s group mural project.
6:00 - 9:00 p.m: come out to the The Johnson Auditorium at Coastal Carolina to hear a musical tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.
5:00 - 7:00 p.m: In a joint effort between Myrtle Beach NAACP and Carolina African American Heritage Foundation, come out to the Mt. Olive AME Church for a bevy of speakers.
8:00 - 11:30 a.m: Corporate and Community Awards Breakfast at the Myrtle Beach Canal Street Recreation Center. Donations are $25.00 per person or $200 for a table of eight persons.
11:30 - 1:30 p.m: 6th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. “Freedom Rally” Parade
