The BFF Pink Ribbon Run will feature a 5K, 10K and Tot Trot for the little ones!
On Friday, there will be an Expo (3 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Breast Cancer Survivor Tribute Ceremony (5:30 p.m.) as well as a free one-mile Survivor Walk (6 p.m.). There will also be a live band following the walk.
The following day, on March 9, there will be the 5K 10K, bot of which start at 8:30 a.m., a Tot Trot at 10 a.m. for those ages 5 and under and a Kids' Run at 10:15 a.m. for ages 6 to 10. These runs will take place by the Barefoot marina near Dirty Don's and will be followed by the awards and closing ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
Money raised through this event will go towards Susan G.Komen Lowcountry receiving a minimum of 25% of proceeds along with 21st Century C.A.R.E (via local Carolina Regional Cancer Center), Faithworks Partnerships and other local cancer charities. More than 75% of funds will stay local.
