Hollywood Wax Museum
It’s the best value in Myrtle Beach. Just look for the 40,000-pound Great Ape and get ready for some gargantuan-sized fun! Ask for your All Access Pass. Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center brings three attractions together to keep your family entertained all day! WonderWorks
Located at Broadway at the Beach, this amusement park for the mind features 50,000 square feet of fun for the entire family, complete with 100+ exhibits, all interactive. There’s an array of themes throughout WonderWorks including Natural Disasters, Light & Sound, Far Out Art, Imagination Lab and Space Discovery. Plus, this attraction features an indoor ropes course, 6D motion ride and laser tag. For even more fun, add their Soar + Explore option where you can try your hand at a 40-foot tall outdoor ropes course and 50-foot tall zipline.
Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is an iconic Myrtle Beach destination. Stretching from 1st Avenue North to 16th Avenue North, this ever-expanding boardwalk features fun, dining and entertainment. Delicious dining options include such choices as Moe Moon’s and Pier House Restaurant while including historic favorites like Peaches Corner and The Bowery. Shopping spots include the well-known 26,000-square-foot Gay Dolphin Gift Cove, surf shops and more. Ripley’s Aquarium
Located at Broadway at the Beach, Ripley’s Aquarium is a must-see Myrtle Beach attraction. Open year-round, it features an array of animals and exhibits. Check out the creatures of the Indo-Pacific at Rainbow Rock, go beneath the ocean at the Dangerous Reef as you move along a 340-foot long glidepath, see piranhas at Rio Amazon or touch rays at the Ray Bay. Pavilion Park
The Pavilion Park offers a collection of classic rides from the Pavilion Amusement Park. Set among three areas, Pavilion Part East, West & Central, there is so much fun to be had. These Broadway at the Beach rides include Wave Swinger, Rio Grande Train, Pipeline Slide (the largest dryslide on the coast!), the historical 1905 Herschell carousel, The Rocket, and one of the newest additions, the Broadway 360 Observation Wheel. Myrtle Waves Water Park
Located less than 7 miles from Carolina Winds, near Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Waves Water Park is a summertime attraction for water fun. Filled with water attractions such as the 20-foot long Super Chute, 50-feet-per-second Turbo Twister, Tsunami FlowRider®, the toddler-sized Bubble Bay and so much more, this attraction is a great way to cool off on a hot summer Myrtle Beach day. The park also features snack options, beer garden for adults, gift shop and more.
Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, can be seen strutting their stuff in the heart of Myrtle Beach at TicketReturn.com Field, located just across the street from Broadway at the Beach. Join them for an affordable family-fun night out. Plus, check out their various promotions throughout the summer including select post-game fireworks shows!

Family Kingdom Amusement Park
For the young and young at heart, Family Kingdom offers some of the most memorable and adrenaline-pumping experiences in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Families and Groups naturally love it for the excellent variety of spirited and wholesome fun. Locals and vacationers alike know the Family Kingdom as the hottest spot in Myrtle Beach for having the time of their lives.
Brookgreen Gardens
The Brookgreen Gardens in Pawley’s Island, SC are the creation of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington of Connecticut, who purchased the old Brookgreen rice plantation and some neighboring land to open the garden to the public in 1932. Brookgreen Gardens is designated a National Historic Landmark. About 550 works of American figurative sculpture are displayed at the Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington Sculpture Garden including works by Anna herself. Also included in your seven day admission is the Native Wildlife Zoo, children’s play area, two restaurants, garden tours, zoo tours, and a self-guided tour nature trail to show off the 2000 identified species of life, including majestic longleaf pines, Spanish moss draped live oaks, and vistas of the river and nearby marshland. The Brookgreen Gardens are a true South Carolina beauty.
Alligator Adventure
At Alligator Adventure you’ll find yourself face to face with nature’s fiercest and most beautiful animals. Located adjacent to Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, one of South Carolina’s most outstanding tourist attractions, Alligator Adventure is one of the largest facilities for reptile life in the world. During your visit to the park you will be guided through beautiful natural swamps and marshes, where you’ll encounter an amazing array of reptiles, lizards, turtles, giant frogs, and exotic birds whether you can find some right here in Myrtle Beach or from all over the world!
SkyWheel Myrtle Beach
The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is 200-feet above sea level. Take a flight overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk in one of our 42 climate controlled and fully enclosed gondolas. Situated as a centerpiece of the 1.2 mile-long Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade, the SkyWheel is surrounded by some tasty eats, great shopping and the pristine sands of the Atlantic.

Broadway at the Beach is an iconic shopping, dining and entertainment district in Myrtle Beach. Located about a 12-minute drive southwest of Carolina Winds, Broadway at the Beach is home to many of the well-known area attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, Kwik-E-Mart, The Simpsons in 4D, Soar & Explore as well as nearby attractions including TopGolf, Myrtle Waves Waterpark, Hollywood Wax Museum, Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Legends In Concert. Dining is plentiful at Broadway with choices including Hard Rock Cafe, Dave & Buster’s, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, Senor Frog’s, Sweet Carolina’s and more! Enjoy dessert at Ben & Jerry’s, River Street Sweets or Sweet Molly’s Creamery, just to name a few. Barefoot Landing
Located about a 12-minute drive northeast of Carolina Winds, Barefoot Landing is the perfect option for an afternoon out with the family or for an evening dinner spot. This North Myrtle Beach complex is located along the Intracoastal Waterway and features plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions. Come on out for a show at Alabama Theatre or House of Blues and stay for dinner at Joe’s Crab Shak, Flying Fish Public Market & Grill or Lucy Buffet’s LuLu’s. Shops are endless at Barefoot Landing and include Christmas Mouse, Black Market Minerals, Pure Lure, Tara Grinna Swimwear, The Olive Shoppe and more. Tanger Outlets
Tanger Outlets features two Myrtle Beach locations. The closest option to Carolina Winds is the Hwy 17 location. Head up towards Restaurant Row in Myrtle Beach to find this shopping mecca. Here you can find outlet deals at a variety of stores including Adidas, Coach, Gap Factory Store, H&M, Old Navy Outlet, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Michael Kors and so much more. Pirate’s Voyage Dinner & Show
A live-action dinner and show, located just minutes from Carolina Winds, Pirate’s Voyage is a popular entertainment option for families visiting Myrtle Beach. Cheer for the Crimson or Sapphire crew as they perform amazing battles in their search for long lost treasure. The venue features pirate ships and a 15-foot water-filled lagoon, for a realistic theatrical experience. Legends In Concert
This world famous live tribute show features an amazing all star cast of FIVE great acts in ONE grand show.
