Water Amenities
Outdoor Oceanfront Pool
Our large, 120-foot oceanfront outdoor pool is the perfect place to take a refreshing dip while on your Myrtle Beach vacation. This seasonally heated pool ranges from 3-feet-deep on the shallow end and up to 10.5-feet-deep on the deep end. It’s one of the largest pools in town! Additionally, there are plenty of lounge chairs surrounding the pool for all-day relaxation, just steps from the beach and our oceanfront lawn.
Kiddie Pools
Adjacent to the large outdoor pool, on the oceanside, is our spacious outdoor kiddie pool. At just 1.5-feet-deep, it’s the perfect place for the little ones to splash and play with their parents while cooling off at the same time. A second kiddie pool can be found at the indoor pool complex, also at just 1.5-feet-deep.
Indoor and Outdoor Whirlpools
Carolina Winds features a variety of bubbly indoor and outdoor heated whirlpools, each approximately 3-feet-deep. Guests have access to two outdoor whirlpools, one of which is situated next to the outdoor lazy river and the other on the inland side of the outdoor pool deck. The third whirlpool can be found indoors in its own room near the indoor pool and is open year-round.
Indoor Pool
Located not far from the outdoor pool deck, the indoor pool features plenty of room to splash, play or relax on vacation. Featuring two submerged stair entrances to the pool, this water feature does not get too deep, allowing for fun for all ages year-round. With plenty of natural light coming in through the glass ceiling and views of the oceanfront lawn, you can enjoy the Carolina sun while staying cool in the indoors.

Exercise Room
Located near our indoor pool on the ground floor, our on-site exercise room is open to all Carolina Winds guests. Featuring a treadmill, stationary bike and cross-trainer, you will have all you need to stay fit while on vacation.
Free Tennis
See our front desk for more information about guest access to free tennis at the exclusive nearby Grande Dunes Club. The Grande Dunes Tennis Club is a 6,000 square-foot tennis facility complete with a pro shop, 10 Har-Tru courts (all but 2 of which are lit). Have fun playing free tennis while on your Carolina Winds vacation!

Beach Access
Guests of Carolina Winds have easy access to the beach—right next to the resort! No need to pack up the car to go to the beach, it’s just steps away from your room here at our resort. Grab your beach toys, beach towels and sunscreen and head down to the beach for a day filled with memories. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available on a seasonal basis through the beach lifeguard service or guests are welcome to bring their own.
Oceanfront Lawn
Our oceanfront lawn is a place for peace and relaxation. Equipped with comfortable lounge chairs, guests can listen to the ocean waves crashing nearby while enjoying a book, having a picnic or playing lawn games with the family. Located adjacent to the oceanside of our outdoor pool deck, it is conveniently located near all of the Carolina Winds amenities.
Guest Laundry Facilities
Located near our indoor pool and exercise room on the ground floor, our clean on-site laundry facilities features coin-operated washers and dryers available for guests who may be staying short-term who want to freshen up their clothes or long-term guests who need to do full loads of laundry during their stay.
Access to nearby Spa Services
Carolina Winds guests have access to relaxing nearby spa services upon appointment. Located just a few minutes south of our resort, this local spa is perfect for rejuvenation. Enjoy massages services such as a couple’s massage, spa services such as a facial and additional indulgences including hot stone therapy. Additional Amenities
Our Myrtle Beach resort offers all you need for the perfect vacation. With free on-site parking, you do not have to worry about going far to get to your vehicle. We also feature conveniently located ice machines and vending machines throughout the property. All direct rental guests receive linens and towels for their unit, and free local and 800 calls, keeping your vacation simple and stress-free.
Snack Shack
The Snack Shack is located just past our lobby and is only steps away from our pool deck. This convenience shop is the perfect place to get all you need, fast and easy, without having to leave the resort. Swing by this 24-hour self-serve shop to pick up a snack, a cold soda, beach supplies, and more! Payment is taken at the self-service kiosk via credit or debit card so you can get back to your vacation quickly. The Carolina Winds Snack Shack is open 24 hours.
Carolina Winds guests also have access to the nearby Aqua petite Spa, which offers an array of services by appointment, for the ultimate relaxing vacation!
